Desc: Loving Me to Death: Directed by Ese Morrison. "Loving Me to Death" is an examination of the behaviors that are perpetuated in the church that are "killing" the congregants. Is the church truly promoting a healthy lifestyle? Is the church encouraging behaviors that lead to obesity, heart disease. etc. Why is there a disproportionate focus on praying against cancer and other terminal illnesses when heart disease kills more people than cancer? What about mental illness? Why do so many people suffer daily trying to pray mental illness away versus getting the appropriate help? This film's goal will be to stir discussion that will result in the church meaningfully wielding its power to make its congregation whole in mind, body, and spirit.
